Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
El cambio climático es generalizado, rápido y se está
intensificando. El último informe del Grupo Intergubernamental de
Expertos sobre le cambio climático (IPCC) publicado el pasado 9 de
agosto de 2021 deja constancia de la urgencia de abordar cambios en
el diseño y la planificación urbana. En este contexto, los entornos
litorales son los lugares donde más intensamente y de manera
creciente se hace sentir sus efectos. Las zonas costeras
experimentarán un aumento continuo del nivel del mar a lo largo del
siglo XXI, lo que contribuirá a la erosión costera y a que las
inundaciones costeras sean más frecuentes y graves en las zonas
bajas. Los fenómenos relacionados con el nivel del mar extremo, que
antiguamente se producían una vez cada 100 años podrían registrarse
con una frecuencia anual a finales de este siglo. Para disminuir su
vulnerabilidad es necesario comprender el funcionamiento de los
sistemas litorales, sus efectos ante el cambio climático, así como
las estrategias y herramientas de diseño de paisajes reslientes
capaces de promover su adaptación.

Overview (resum en anglès): This work, exposes the development and tendencies that have been given shape to the landscapes of the plain of the lower river Ter. Centered specifically on dose elements that have wakened a conflict based on the lose of natural landscapes and the ecosystems that compose them.
From these inter territorial tensions, we have to take into account the effects that the climate change has been having in this area. Widening the risks with a new set of climate hazards that add to the pressure that the territory already sustains.
These works try to raise awareness about what these internal and climate bases conflicts mean and suppose for the future development of the area. Awareness based on the exposition and comprenhencion of the ecosystem goods and services that have been lost. And how the recuperation of these services could help us and could represent a key for the future development of these area.
A proposal of strategies and a plan is made to start a process to change the territorial management model. A new system that allows the regeneration of the ecosystem goods, based mainly on nature based solutions. Making of the plain of the lower river Ter a healthy landscape, regenerative and resilient.
