Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
A key performance factor of paramount importance in future 5G/6G
networks is determinism (e.g., bounded latency). Actually, a
deterministic network exchanges data in a precise manner with a
defined latency. However, in the 5G/6G context, from and end-to-
end perspective, a lot of technical challenges need to be still
investigated.
The main aim of the Thesis will consist on contributing to the
design and implementation of a proper control solution to be able
to efficiently manage end-to-end optical deterministic networks
in support of 5G/6G services and applications.

A grant to partially cover the Master Thesis will be given.
 
Orientació a l'estudiant:
Basic knowledge of communications networks and programming skills (Java, Python).
