| The measurement of the volume of propellant in a tank in space is a challenge given the distribution of liquid and gas in microgravity conditions. The techniques proposed in the last decades show a too low accuracy to be reliable. As a consequence, the propellant launched in any space mission is always overestimated, generating an increase in the mission costs. This project will consist in experimental tests of a new technique for mass gauging based on acoustics. | |
