Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Recently, an Android application has been developed. It allows
users to collect samples for a large amount of communication
technologies that are often present at mobile devices, and to
build the fingerprinting database with the observed measurements.
However, some of these observables often come with a fair
consistency, which means that their time availability is far from
what is expected. Accordingly, data consistency checking is
required before the fingerprinting database is considered built
and ready for deployment.

The goal of this project is to enhance the current application
with two new features:

- Data validation. The user will provide some basic thresholds
for several parameters. The validation data tool will then seek
the database for any data collection campaign that do not fulfil
the provided thresholds and will report information that allow
users to identify the issues.

- Report generation. This tool will generate different reports
from data that are stored in the database. Some examples of this
reports would include heat-maps according to the number of
measurements per technology, the amount of measurements per
reference point and technology, etc. These reports are intended
to be exportable either as HTML and PDF files.
 
Orientació a l'estudiant:
Good knowledge of the Java programming language. A solid foundation
in Android programming is required.
