Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Nowadays the global aviation has an important role when talking about contamination. Thus, it's intended to research for a new era of power supply by substituting the actual
fossil fuel by other emerging methods like electric or hydrogen powered aircrafts.
These new power resources would be feasible for regional flights and small aircrafts due to battery and volume of hydrogen space limitations in principle

This TFG devotes to study these two main power resources or even another that can be introduced or the combination of them are possible to substitute the actual fuel in order to reduce the fuel emissions regarding aviation, or even a combination with the fuel to reduce emissions in ground operations for example.

The current "state-of-the-art" situation in the aviation industry will be analyzed and based on recent developments in battery capacity and hydrogen propulsion estimated prediction will be made for the close to mid-term future.
 
Orientació a l'estudiant:
The student will learn the main features regarding hydrogen and electric propulsion systems. She/He has to analyze the current situation in the aviation industry with particular focus on recent evolution in battery systems as well as proposed
future projects of airplane companies. Supervisor and student will meet regular basis about once a week to evaluate the progress and discuss the following steps. In case of bigger problems the student can approach the supervisor any time in order to solve the problems as soon as possible in order to avoid any hold backs.
 
 
 
Horari d'atenció a estudiants per a l'assignació de projecte:
Regular meetings of about 1-2h will be setup weekly in order to check, discuss and evaluate the progress as well to plan the following steps. In case of bigger problems extraordinary meetings will be done as soon as possible.
